Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful use of Dottie voice agents (including EU AI Act prohibited practices).

Ultimo aggiornamento 2026-08-04

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of the Dottie platform. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

Intended use

Dottie is provided for lawful business voice agents: answering calls, qualifying enquiries, booking appointments, taking messages, and handing over to humans.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Dottie to: break the law; harass or defraud people; spoof identity in a deceptive way; or process personal data without a lawful basis.

EU AI Act — prohibited practices: you must not use Dottie for social scoring, harmful manipulative AI, exploitation of vulnerabilities, untargeted scraping of facial images, workplace or education emotion recognition, biometric categorisation of protected characteristics, or other practices prohibited by Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

High-risk uses: you must not use Dottie as an Annex III high-risk AI system (for example employment recruitment screening, credit scoring, or essential public services access decisions) without a separate written agreement and compliance programme.

Call quality scoring may only be used for operational quality of the agent conversation — not for emotion recognition or prohibited biometric analysis of callers.

Transparency

You must not remove or disable AI-identity disclosures required by the platform. Callers must be able to understand they are interacting with an AI system.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and report unlawful activity to authorities where required.
